Hi everyone!
My name is Roman Arguelles. I am excited to be teaching PE and coaching Boys Athletics! This is my 3rd year in my teaching career and my 2nd year here with BCISD.
I graduated from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor with a degree in Physical Education and a minor in Education EC-12.
Physical Education Philosophy:
Physical education provides the opportunity to teach students the benefits of strategies, teamwork, movement, problem solving, and health related fitness. Allowing students to participate in various physical activities, sports, and methods of fitness will provide for better enjoyment of physical activity, help build social, cognitive, and psychomotor skills. My plan is to safely provide students the opportunity to enjoy physical activity and sports, increase their knowledge of health-related fitness, and aid in finding their desired ways of staying physically active for a lifetime.
