Hey there Bulldogs! I am joining the BMS family from RJ Richey and I am super excited to go on this year's adventure with you! I have a middle schooler myself and we both love cats, colors and glitter! Throughout the year we will be working with "the end in mind". This doesn't mean that we are just counting down the days - we are talking about goals, stepping stones, and what we want to get out of this year. We want to know what we are working towards - join us as we work to "Finish Strong"!!
I graduated high school just up the road in Lampasas in 2001 and I may be a teacher now, but I have a degree in Business Human Resource Management. I worked for a bank, a hotel, an eye doctor, Burnet County and just received my 5 year pin for BCISD! I feel called to help others find out what they can accomplish - everyone can learn, everyone is smart, and everyone deserves grace and love!!
I have included our units of study for the year! I will be utilizing Google Classroom - please log in with your student and don't hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns! Also, if you are not familiar with Skyward, now would be a great time to get on the same page with your student as far as expectations for their 8th grade year!
