Mrs. Faust
Howdy! I am Mrs. Faust and I am excited about this year!
This will be my 22nd year teaching in the middle school setting, and my 7th year here at BMS.
I am the inclusion teacher in some 6th, 7th and 8th grade ELA classes.
I graduated from Southwest Texas State, now Texas State University...Eat'Em Up Cats!
I am married and have 2 adult children. I am a dog mom to two Weimaraners, and grandPAWrent to one more Weimaraner as well as two mini-doxies.
In my spare time I enjoy water sports, crafting, and DIY home projects.
I look forward to a fantastic year together!

Curriculum/Syllabus:
Throughout the year, we will:
- Build reading and writing skills
- Build communication skills
- Analyze fiction and nonfiction texts
- Analyze drama and poetry
- Analyze argumentative texts
- Analyze informational texts, and
- Analyze texts across multiple genres
Grading:
Each grading period, there will be a minimum of 6 minor and 2 major grades.
Procedures:
- Come to class prepared.
- Be respectful to all classmates and adults!
- We will read and write EVERY DAY!
- Turn your assignments in on time.
- If you have a question, raise your hand and wait quietly.
