Hello all,
My name is Braden Terry, and I’m excited to be your 8th grade U.S. History teacher this school year! I grew up just twenty minutes down the road in Lampasas—yes, I know they’re rivals, but rest assured, I’m fully committed to the Bulldog way!
I’m a huge baseball fan (Go Astros!) and played the sport all the way through my senior year of high school. Outside the classroom, I enjoy spending time on my family’s land just outside of my hometown—whether it’s working cows or casting a line to fish, being outdoors is my happy place.
I graduated from Sam Houston State University, and this year marks my fourth year in education. I’ve grown a lot since my first year and am more passionate than ever about helping students succeed, not just in history but in their overall learning journey.
I’m looking forward to getting to know each of you and making this a great school year together!
