About Me

My name is Scott Nowack. I’m the new 8th Grade American History teacher here at Burnet Middle School. I am relatively new to teaching having served in ordained ministry for over 24 years. My last teaching position was at the Meridian World School in Round Rock, TX, teaching 8th Grade Design. My favorite areas of study in American History is the life and times of President Teddy Roosevelt, the Progressive Era, and President John F. Kennedy.

I bring a wealth of life experience to the classroom and the conviction that all students can be successful if they are willing to commit themselves to their own success. I am a life long learner who strives to be a better teacher, father, husband, and person every day.
