Welcome to our 8th Grade English class page! My name is Karla Pfiester, and I'm a proud member of the Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of 2005—WHOOP! I'm beyond excited to be joining the Bulldog 🐾family this year.
My family and I are new to the Burnet community, and we're already loving it. We're big fans of spending time out on the lake in the sun or just being silly and playing with our dogs, Schatzi and Elli. When I'm not on the lake or with our dogs, you can find me immersed in a good book, snuggling with our bearded dragon, Rambo, working on my latest woodworking project, or finding something to keep me busy and outside in the beautiful Texas Hill Country.
Our classroom is more than just a place to learn; it's a family. We're all here to support each other as we work on our English reading comprehension, analysis, and writing skills. Our goal is to help students become successful members of the Burnet community. Whether you love to read or feel a little nervous about it, this is a safe space to share your successes and struggles. I look forward to getting to know all of you this year and making it a great one!
