Byron Eakin, Counselor: last names A-K

My name is Byron Eakin, and I have the privilege of serving as one of your school counselors at Burnet Middle School. I grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas, and attended Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi, where I earned both a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Counseling. While I have always loved the Texas coast, I am happy to now call Central Texas home. This year marks my 11th year as a school counselor and my 15th year in education. My goal as a counselor is to spark curiosity in students, so they will pursue their passions and desires with the understanding that striving for a better education is in their own interest!
