Coach Schubert

I am an experienced Texas educator and coach with more than 25 years of service in public education. I hold multiple Texas teaching certifications, including Physical Education, English Language Arts and Reading, Mathematics, Generalist, Speech, English as a Second Language, and Special Education. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology, graduating Cum Laude from Texas A&M University–Kingsville, as well as Associate of Science and Associate of Arts degrees from Blinn College. 

Throughout my career, I have taught students from elementary through high school in a wide range of academic subjects while serving in numerous athletic leadership roles, including athletic coordinator, head coach, and interim athletic director. Beyond the classroom and athletic arena, I have founded youth leadership initiatives, coordinated community sports camps, and mentored student-athletes throughout Texas.

A former collegiate basketball player and team captain, I have been recognized with multiple Coach of the Year honors in volleyball and basketball, Academic All-Conference honors in college, and was blessed with the opportunity to coach in the FCA All-Star Showdown. I have a lifelong commitment to developing excellence in both academics and athletics.
